Our first client is having issues uploading images.
When they upload the images, the AutoDirector banner is displayed but the rest is a blank screen.

They are using IE7.

I can do the exact same upload on my pc's without problem.
Any ideas?

Are they definitely uploading JPG images?
Can you upload the same images using IE7 without a problem?

My initial suspicion would be that they've got a broken IE. Could they try another browser?

Hi,
yes they are. I uploaded the same image no problem.
They try and and save images it displays the top banner and a blank lower screen.
The status bar says Done.

I thought also the IE had some issues but was not sure how/what might be the problem.

Good shout on the other browser but not sure they are up to installing it themselves :'( so a visit is required!

Thanks

Have they definitely got JavaScript enabled? It's possible they are running software or using a proxy server that changes the page. Advert blockers and possibly some toolbars are especially likely to do that.

As a further thought, get them to delete their browser cache and cookies. Also, check that their cache isn't too large - 50MB is enough (any more can actually slow browsing down because IE spends longer looking through the cache than it would do to download the file!)

Firefox is really easy to install and it'll import their IE settings. Tell them to visit http://www.getfirefox.com/ and follow the download instructions.
