Hi,

Firstly, Auto director is a fantastic product, and an absolute bargain, so thanks!

We have just had the software installed on our website, and created 2 showrooms. We have a couple of teething troubles, but we are getting there!

I was wandering if anyone can tell me if we can set up the showrooms in such a way, that we can put capital letters in the "Price" and "colour" fields. At the moment I can put the details in correctly when adding or editing a car, but when you save, the case is being ignored. I can understand the reason for no one having asked for this before, but I would like to put a manufacturers colour name, such as "Vision Blue" in the listing, rather than just "blue". In the Price section it would look nicer to have "Sold" rather than "sold".

Also, the light box feature used within Auto Director is much better than the one we are currently using. Can we draw on the light box for other images, not connected with auto director?

Many thanks,

Simon.

Lightbox is a sort of freeware tool I think - http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/#overview
It can be used on any image.

I don't understand the case issue - it doesn't happen on mine, it might be to do with your hosting package?

Thanks for the info.

Thats the same lightbox feature I have used on a different website, but it doesn't seem to do the snazzy zoom effect that you get on Auto Director, if the image is larger than the size given.

Hi. The text casing is altered using the CSS text-transform property, so it depends which theme you are using. To change it, either alter the css file in the client folder (remove any text-transform references) or override it with your own CSS file, e.g.

#autodirector dd { text-transform: none; }

The lightbox is our own system and it has not been publicly released. We can licence it to you - please send an email to sales@autodirector.co.uk if you are interested.
