AutoDirector forum

I must admit I have changed a few items to fit the one of my current clients.

I just wondered is this still okay? I still have the AutoDirector admin url/page.
I have changed the database structure a little (field types) and renamed fields, and finally modded the client js page to utilise the changes. You could say it has saved my days of work! Thank you.

I will though be posting the many enhancements that take it to the next level IMO.

AD is a great product and simple to use
But please keep it fresh and I think you will continue your success!

We certainly encourage AutoDirector modifications and often produce ones for clients who want different currencies or Km rather than miles. Please feel free to publish ideas or code snippets here.

We only request that you don't resell your updated AutoDirector or produce mods that infringe our commercial rights, e.g. one that removes the (C) messages or license key.

The mod is I guess not really a mod, I simply renamed some fields to match
the clients business (Trailers not vehicles).

The client knows they are using AutoDirector and that version is specific to them.

What I would like to know is where we can find other mods to include?

Hi ecs2008 as you know how to change the various labels (Trailers not vehicles). Can you advise me and others what the procedure is. I have a client who wants to list car parts as well as cars so I want to know if I can change labels just for 1 site but keep the main labels for the car Db?
